Maybe you were also frustrated using the cardfile program that came with windows. I looked for a program where I could just pin down small notes, but couldn
t find anything appropriate. So I spend an afternoon doing one myself.
I know that it is probably a little clumsy to run such a huge program like toolbook for such a little task, but as toolbook is running the whole day at my machine anyway, I didn
t care.

access
To access a certain pinboard, click the button of its name
To create a new note at the current pinboard, click "new note"
To edit a note, click at the note with the right mousebutton. It will change its color to show that you can edit it now. When you are finished with editing, click it again whith the right mousebutton.
To change the size of a note, press the SHIFT key, click the note, keep the mousebutton down and move the mouse. You can not change the size of a note while you are editing it.
To move a note, click it and keep the mousebutton down. Drag the mouse.  You can not move a note while you are editing it.
delete
To delete a note, move the note to the right untill the note is located entirely above the right hand side buttons. You will be asked then, if you really want to delete the note.
rename
You can rename any of the 10 pinboards by clicking its button with the right mousebutton. You will be asked for the new name then.
